about1Dr Libby Ashurst has completed Expert Witness Training through the BPS and provides forensic psychological assessments and intervention services for young people between the ages of 10- 18 years who present with serious emotional, behavioural and social difficulties, learning difficulties, mental health difficulties, and psychiatric disorders. She also provides services to children and young people who present with persistent or serious antisocial and criminal behaviours, including interpersonal violence, fire setting, and Harmful Sexual Behaviour. Another area of her expertise involves work with young persons who have been sexually exploited or those at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation.

Libby has also completed the BPS Clinical Supervision training and is on the BPS register for Clinical Supervisors. She currently supervises individuals and staff teams who work with young people including counsellors, psychologists, independent consultant social workers and HSB practitioners.

In addition, Libby provides consultancy, advice and training in Harmful Sexual Behaviour, Child Sexual Exploitation, Emotional Intelligence and Objective Professional Practice to local authority social workers, residential social workers, Youth Justice Agency, Police Services, psychologists and charitable organisations who have been commissioned to provide services in Harmful Sexual Behaviours and or Child Sexual Exploitation.
