- Design and develop trauma informed /responsive social care services for social care providers and Local Authorities
- Design develop and deliver bespoke individualised trauma responsive intervention \ therapy plans (EMDR, CBT, DBT, MBT) (children and adults)
- Trauma Informed Psychological Assessment (5-18years) for adults and young people between the ages of 5-18 years who present with serious emotional, behavioural or social difficulties, learning difficulties, victims of child sexual abuse, mental health difficulties, and psychiatric disorders. Serious antisocial and criminal behaviour, including interpersonal violence, fire setting, harmful sexual behaviour
- Deliver specialist individualised Forensic intervention plans for (5-18years)
- Trauma Informed Holistic Psychological Assessment (children and adults)
- Child Autism Assessment (ADOS)
- Learning difficulties and learning disability assessment (children and adults)
- Reactive sexual behaviour / problematic sexual behaviour / harmful sexual behaviour assessment (AIM-3 assessment, Aim under 12 assessment, J-SoP, ERASER)
- Personality patterns and difficulties for children ages 9-18
- Consultation for self-harm and suicidality for 5-18 years (risk formulation and safety planning)
- Consultations and developmental concept mapping for Local Authorities regarding children and young people to decide on placement options
- Reflective supervision for social care and psychology practitioners
Training
The Ashurst Mastery model is a 5 day trauma informed skills based Mastery Model of learning which utilises an immersive / simulated training environment for Social and Health Care Professionals working with Therapeutic Residential Homes and or traumatised individuals.
The aim of this course is to enhance the knowledge and understanding of those working in residential therapeutic environments of the impacts of trauma lived experiences on the individuals they serve. Through presenting job-related simulations and reflection front line practitioners are afforded opportunities to improve their competence and skills in trauma-related professional practice, thereby promoting confidence and job satisfaction.
A reflective transfer to practice model is utilised on a weekly basis to scaffold conscious competence.
